Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add almond extract and mix well.
  • Gradually add flour and chopped almonds, mixing until dough comes together.
  • Shape dough into crescent shapes and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool slightly, then make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill with raspberry jam.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
