Description

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Crescent Rolls are a delicious and easy breakfast or brunch option that combines savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty cheese all wrapped up in a warm, buttery crescent roll. Perfect for busy mornings, these handheld delights are simple to make and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (or any ground sausage)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Cook the Sausage:

    • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked through, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Once done, set the sausage aside and drain any excess fat.

  • Scramble the Eggs:

    • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

    • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are scrambled and fully cooked. Set aside.

  • Assemble the Crescent Rolls:

    • Open the can of crescent rolls and separate them into triangles on a flat surface.

    • Place a spoonful of cooked sausage in the center of each crescent roll, followed by a small amount of scrambled eggs and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.

  • Roll and Bake:

    • Roll up each crescent triangle, starting at the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  • Serve:

    • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can make these ahead of time and store them in the fridge, then reheat them for a quick breakfast.

  • For extra flavor, try using different types of cheese (like Swiss or pepper jack) or adding some sautéed vegetables to the filling.

  • You can also use turkey or chicken sausage for a leaner version of this recipe.
