Description

This 2 Ingredient Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is the ultimate easy dessert or breakfast! With just two main ingredients, cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling, you can create a warm, gooey, and delicious treat in no time. The combination of the sweet cinnamon rolls and the tender apple filling creates a comforting dish that’s perfect for busy mornings or special occasions. Top it with a little icing or whipped cream for extra indulgence!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)

  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish.

  • Layer the apple pie filling: Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Use a spoon to spread it evenly.

  • Add the cinnamon rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and scatter them evenly on top of the apple pie filling.

  • Bake the casserole: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through. You may need to check a few minutes early depending on your oven.

  • Drizzle the icing: After the bake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Drizzle the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls over the top.

  • Serve: Slice and serve warm! Optionally, you can top it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • Make it your own: You can add extra spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to the apple pie filling to enhance the flavor, or even add chopped nuts (such as pecans) for added crunch.

  • Alternative toppings: Try serving this bake with a caramel sauce or more icing for a sweeter treat.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2-3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
