Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup caramel bits
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine caramel bits and water. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, add the crispy rice cereal. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until well coated.
  • Press the chocolate-cereal mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Drizzle the melted caramel over the top of the bars.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.
  • Once firm, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For added texture and flavor, you can mix in some chopped nuts or add a pinch of sea salt on top before refrigerating.
  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
