- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
