These Christmas Brownies are rich, fudgy, and perfect for the holiday season. With a classic combination of butter, cocoa, and sugar, they’re a deliciously festive treat that will make any holiday gathering even sweeter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
