Description

  • You can easily adjust the amount of cinnamon or sugar to suit your personal taste.

  • For a more flavorful crust, consider adding finely chopped nuts (like pecans or almonds) to the mixture.

  • If you prefer a thicker crust, you can increase the amount of graham cracker crumbs by 1/4 cup.

  • This recipe works well for cheesecakes, key lime pies, and even ice cream pies!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you’re baking the crust (optional for no-bake recipes).

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and cinnamon powder.

  • Add Butter: Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture is well combined and all crumbs are coated in butter.

  • Form the Crust: Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan or tart pan. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to press it down firmly and evenly.

  • Bake (Optional): If baking, place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and fragrant. If you’re using the crust for a no-bake dessert, simply refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to set.

  • Cool and Use: Let the crust cool completely before filling with your favorite dessert!
