Description

This Oreo Dump Cake is a super easy and indulgent dessert that combines the rich flavors of Oreos, chocolate cake, and whipped topping. With just a few ingredients and minimal effort, you can enjoy a delicious, gooey, and irresistible dessert that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 Oreo cookies
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), not frozen
  • 1 (15¼ oz) box chocolate cake mix

  • ½ cup sweet salted butter (sliced)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Baking Dish:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Layer the Ingredients:

    • Start by breaking the Oreo cookies in half and evenly spreading them across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
    • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the Oreos.
    • Spread the whipped topping (Cool Whip) evenly on top of the condensed milk layer.
    • Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix over the whipped topping, spreading it out evenly with a spoon or spatula.
  • Add Butter:

    • Place the sliced butter evenly over the top of the cake mix layer.
  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
    • The edges should be crispy, and the center should be slightly gooey.

  • Serve:

    • Let the cake cool slightly before serving. You can serve it warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with more whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

  • The cake will have a gooey texture in the middle, which is part of the charm! If you prefer a firmer consistency, bake it a bit longer.
  • You can swap the chocolate cake mix for any other flavor (like vanilla or red velvet) for a different twist.

  • This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream on top.
