Description
This classic pumpkin pie is the perfect dessert for the fall season or holiday gatherings. Made with a smooth, spiced pumpkin filling and baked in a flaky pie crust, it’s a comforting treat that’s always a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can of pumpkin puree

1 (12 oz) can of evaporated milk

2 large eggs

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp ground nutmeg

¼ tsp ground cloves
-
1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp salt
-
1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust (or homemade)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for another 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and allow the pie to cool completely before serving.

Optional: Top with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
Notes
You can use homemade pie crust for an extra special touch.
For a firmer filling, bake for an additional 5 minutes at the lower temperature.
