Description

This creamy Strawberry Mousse is a light and refreshing dessert with the perfect balance of sweetness and tang. Made with either cream cheese or coconut cream, and enhanced with the natural sweetness of strawberries, this mousse is both indulgent and refreshing. Whether you use fresh or frozen strawberries, this dessert is quick to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese or coconut cream

  • 4 oz yogurt or additional cream cheese or coconut cream

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or sugar-free alternative)

  • 5 medium-sized strawberries (optional, can be omitted for a simpler mousse)

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste


Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese (or coconut cream) and yogurt (or additional cream cheese) together until smooth and creamy.

  • Gradually add the powdered sugar (or sugar-free alternative) and continue to beat until fully combined and smooth.

  • If using strawberries, blend them into a puree and fold them into the cream mixture. If you prefer a smooth mousse, you can skip this step and use the mousse as is.

  • Stir in the vanilla bean paste for added flavor.

  • Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until chilled and set.

 

  • Serve as is or garnish with extra strawberries or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • You can make this mousse ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese or coconut cream.

 

  • The strawberry flavor can be adjusted by adding more or fewer strawberries, or by using a strawberry puree.
