Description

This Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a delightful dessert that combines a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy cream cheese filling, and a sweet strawberry topping. Perfect for any occasion, it offers a balance of sweet and salty flavors in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 2 (3 oz) packages of strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz) packages of frozen strawberries

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl. Press into a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over pretzel crust.
  • Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in frozen strawberries. Let set briefly, then pour over cream cheese layer. Chill until set.

Notes

  • Ensure the pretzel crust has cooled before spreading the cream cheese layer on top to prevent it from melting.
