- 1 lb sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb gnocchi
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, and gnocchi.
- Simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the gnocchi is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Notes
- If the sauce becomes too thick, you can add a little more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
- For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage or add red pepper flakes.
