1 package (20 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed

12 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, bacon, or ham (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Spread the thawed hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully combined.

If using, stir in the cooked sausage, bacon, or ham into the egg mixture.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the hash browns in the baking dish.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions if desired.
