Description

This Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is a cheesy, comforting dinner with all the flavor of traditional lasagna but none of the hassle! Layers of frozen ravioli, marinara, and gooey cheese come together effortlessly in your slow cooker. It’s a perfect family-friendly meal for busy weeknights or cozy weekends!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (no need to thaw)

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional, for creamy layers)

  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in the Italian seasoning and pasta sauce. Heat through.

  2. Layer in the crockpot:

    • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a greased slow cooker.

    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.

    • Spoon some of the meat sauce over the ravioli.

    • If using ricotta, dollop some over the sauce.

    • Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.

    • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.

  3. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted.

  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use spinach or beef ravioli for added variety.

Add a layer of sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.

Can be made ahead in the slow cooker and started later.
