Description

This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the ultimate creamy, cheesy comfort food! Tender diced chicken is simmered in a luscious garlic Parmesan sauce, creating the perfect blend of flavors. Quick to make, this dish is a weeknight dinner winner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (any variety, such as fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add extra vegetables such as spinach or broccoli for more flavor and nutrients.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
