Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
  • 6 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  • Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix and ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
  • Add Butter: Place the stick of butter on top of the chicken.
  • Add Pepperoncini: Add the pepperoncini peppers to the Crock Pot.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds.
  • Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  • Serve: Serve the shredded chicken over rice, in sandwiches, or in tacos for a delicious, easy meal

  • For a richer flavor, add a bit of cream cheese at the end of the cooking process to thicken and cream the sauce.
