Description

These crispy and flavorful salmon patties are easy to make and packed with savory ingredients. Perfect for a quick dinner or lunch, they’re ideal served with a squeeze of fresh lime and a side of tartar sauce for dipping!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 (5 oz.) cans boneless, skinless salmon
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • A few dashes of seasoned salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon parsley
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 fresh lime (for garnish)
  • Tartar sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Drain the cans of salmon and remove any skin or bones (if desired).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon, milk, panko bread crumbs, eggs, salt, black pepper, seasoned salt, cilantro, onion powder, and parsley. Mix until everything is well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches wide. You should get about 8-10 patties depending on size.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the patties from the skillet and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Serve with a squeeze of fresh lime and tartar sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • You can add a little hot sauce or your favorite spices to the mixture if you like a bit of heat.
  • These salmon patties can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. You can also freeze them for later use.
  • For a healthier option, you can bake the patties in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
