Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) champagne (or any sparkling wine)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup strawberry vodka (optional for a boozy kick)
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or adjust to taste)
- Sparkling water or club soda, to top off (optional)
- Ice cubes (for serving)
- Mint leaves and extra strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the simple syrup. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to macerate and release their juices.
- Mix the punch: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, add the macerated strawberries, strawberry vodka (if using), orange liqueur, and fresh orange juice. Stir gently to combine.
- Add champagne: Slowly pour the chilled champagne into the bowl with the strawberry mixture. Stir gently to combine, making sure not to disturb the bubbles too much.
- Top with soda: If you want a lighter, more refreshing punch, add some sparkling water or club soda to the punch. Stir again to combine.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the punch over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional strawberry slices.
- Enjoy: Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing, bubbly goodness!
Notes
- Adjust sweetness: Depending on your taste, you can add more simple syrup or less depending on how sweet you want the punch.
- Chill ahead: Chill the champagne and any other liquids ahead of time to keep the punch nice and cold when serving.
- Make it ahead: You can prepare the strawberry mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it. Just add the champagne and soda before serving to keep the bubbles intact.
