Description

Juicy, flavorful, and kissed by flame, these Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops are the ultimate summer grilling staple. Marinated in a sweet and tangy blend of honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, and vinegar, then grilled to perfection, each bite bursts with bold, balanced flavor. Perfect for backyard BBQs or quick weeknight dinners—this recipe is easy, customizable, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  2. Marinate the Pork Chops: Place pork chops in a resealable bag or dish. Pour marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2–4 hours).

  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat grill to medium-high. Oil the grates to prevent sticking.

  4. Grill the Pork Chops: Remove chops from marinade and shake off excess. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, or until internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C). Baste with reserved marinade during last minute if desired.

  5. Rest and Serve: Let chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with herbs and serve hot.

Notes

Marinate longer (up to overnight) for extra flavor.

Bone-in chops tend to stay juicier than boneless.

You can bake instead of grill: 400°F for 20–25 minutes.

To use leftover marinade as a sauce, boil it for 5 minutes to ensure food safety.

Spice it up with cayenne or smoky paprika for variation.
