This moist, flavorful banana bread is made with ripe bananas, melted butter, and a hint of vanilla, creating the perfect treat for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  • Stir in the melted butter.
  • Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  • Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Mix in the flour.
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

  • You can add nuts or chocolate chips to the batter for extra flavor.
