This homemade cheesy garlic bread is the perfect side dish for pasta, soups, or any meal that could use a warm, garlicky, cheesy touch. With crispy, golden edges and gooey melted cheese, this bread is sure to be a hit at the dinner table!

- 1 loaf French bread or Italian baguette
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the French bread or Italian baguette in half lengthwise.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella. Stir until well mixed.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the buttered bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
- (Optional) Garnish with fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture if you like a little heat.
- This bread is best served fresh out of the oven, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to regain crispiness.
