Description

This Choco Swiss Roll Delight is a decadent treat featuring a light, fluffy chocolate sponge cake rolled up with a sweet filling. With a dusting of powdered sugar, it’s the perfect dessert for chocolate lovers!


Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until thick and pale.
  • Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold into the egg mixture.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Gently roll the cake with the parchment paper and let it cool completely.
  • Carefully unroll the cake and spread your favorite filling. Roll the cake back up without the parchment paper.
