Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your favorite toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add flour, olive oil, salt, and sugar to the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, add cheese, and your favorite toppings.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
