Description

This fun and colorful Candy-filled M&M Drip Cake is a showstopper! Packed with M&Ms baked right into the cake and topped with a generous layer of chocolate frosting and more candy, this cake is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or any occasion that calls for a sweet and playful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of M&Ms
  • 2 cups of chocolate frosting
  • Assorted candies for decoration

Instructions

 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  • Fold in the M&Ms until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cakes to cool completely before removing them from the pans.
  • Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a layer of chocolate frosting on top.
  • Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with the remaining chocolate frosting.
  • Decorate the top of the cake with assorted candies and M&Ms.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can add a drizzle of chocolate ganache over the top of the cake for an extra special touch.
