Instructions
- Toast the muffin: Split the English muffin and toast both halves until golden brown.
- Cook the sausage: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage patty for about 4-5 minutes per side or until fully cooked and browned.
- Cook the egg: In the same skillet, melt butter (optional). Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your preferred doneness (scrambled, fried, or soft-boiled). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Assemble the McMuffin: Place the cooked sausage patty on the bottom half of the toasted English muffin. Top with the cooked egg, then a slice of cheese. Place the top muffin half on top to complete the sandwich.
- Serve immediately, and enjoy!

- For a healthier version, you can use turkey sausage or a plant-based sausage patty.
