These Easy Breakfast Sliders are the perfect quick and delicious meal for mornings when you’re craving something savory. Made with fluffy scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and breakfast sausage, all sandwiched between soft slider buns—ideal for a grab-and-go breakfast!
Ingredients
-
12 slider buns
-
6 large eggs
-
1/4 cup milk
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
-
1/2 lb breakfast sausage (patties or crumbled)
-
6 slices cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)
-
2 tablespoons melted butter
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
-
1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks. Remove from the pan and set aside.
-
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat, then pour in the egg mixture. Scramble the eggs gently until soft and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Slice the slider buns in half, keeping the top and bottom together. Place the bottom halves of the buns on a baking sheet or in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
-
Layer the cooked sausage evenly over the bottom buns, then add a layer of scrambled eggs, followed by a slice of cheese on each.
-
Place the top halves of the buns on top of the cheese, pressing down slightly.
-
Brush the melted butter over the top of the buns and sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder (if using).
-
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
-
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the buns are golden and the cheese has melted.
-
Slice the sliders, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
-
You can swap the sausage for bacon or ham if you prefer.
-
For a vegetarian version, use a plant-based breakfast sausage.
-
These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge, then baked when needed for a quick breakfast.
