Description

This French Onion Croissant Burger is a deliciously savory twist on the classic burger, featuring juicy beef patties flavored with French onion soup mix, melted Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions, all sandwiched in a buttery croissant. It’s a gourmet meal in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 croissants
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the French onion soup mix. Form into patties.
  • Grill the patties to your desired doneness.
  • In a skillet, sauté the sliced onion in butter until caramelized.
  • Toast the croissants until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each croissant. Top with a slice of Swiss cheese and a generous amount of caramelized onions.
  • Place the top half of the croissant on top and serve warm.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, you can add a touch of Dijon mustard or mayonnaise to the croissant before assembling the burger.
  • If you prefer a milder cheese, try using provolone or cheddar instead of Swiss.
  • You can also add some fresh lettuce or tomatoes for added freshness.
