- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
- Fresh greens (optional, such as arugula or spinach)
Instructions
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one slice of bread.
- Add a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the other slice.
- Place the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese-covered bread.
- Sprinkle capers, red onion slices, and fresh dill over the salmon.
- Top with fresh greens if using.
- Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
- Serve with a wedge of lemon on the side for added freshness.
