Description

These Sugar Cookie Truffles are a delightful no-bake treat that combines the classic flavor of sugar cookies with the creamy richness of cream cheese and a sweet white chocolate coating. Perfect for holidays, parties, or any time you’re craving a sweet indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (200g) sugar cookie crumbs (about 12 sugar cookies)
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (340g) white chocolate melting wafers or candy melts
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cookie Crumbs: Place the sugar cookies in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a large resealable plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin until they reach the desired consistency.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese: In a medium bowl, combine the sugar cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Mix until the mixture is well combined and can be pressed into a ball.
  • Form the Truffles: Using a small scoop or spoon, portion out the mixture and roll it into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the truffles to firm up.
  • Melt the White Chocolate: While the truffles are chilling, melt the white chocolate melting wafers according to the package instructions.
  • Dip the Truffles: Once the truffles are firm, dip each one into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the coated truffles back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Decorate: Immediately sprinkle the truffles with your choice of sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  • Set and Serve: Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving. You can speed up this process by placing the truffles in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Once set, transfer the truffles to a serving platter or store them in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For a festive touch, use holiday-themed sprinkles.
