Description

These delightful Valentine’s Day Sweetheart White Chocolate Cranberry Bites are the perfect combination of creamy white chocolate and tart dried cranberries. Shaped like hearts, they are a simple yet elegant treat that will melt your heart—and your tastebuds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted pistachios, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional for extra texture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Red and pink sprinkles (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Melt the white chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
  3. Add flavor: Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt to the melted white chocolate. This will enhance the flavor of the chocolate and give it a little balance.
  4. Mix in cranberries and other additions: Gently fold in the dried cranberries, chopped pistachios (if using), and mini marshmallows (if using) into the melted white chocolate mixture.
  5. Shape the bites: Drop spoonfuls of the white chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. If you want to make them heart-shaped, you can use a silicone heart-shaped mold or simply shape them by hand.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the white chocolate cranberry bites for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until they are fully set.
  7. Garnish: Once set, you can garnish the bites with red and pink sprinkles to give them a festive touch.
  8. Serve and enjoy: Once chilled and set, serve these treats as a sweet Valentine’s Day gift or dessert.

Notes

  • You can replace the pistachios with other nuts such as almonds or walnuts if you prefer.
  • Feel free to add more dried cranberries or other dried fruits for extra flavor.
  • If you want a smoother texture, you can use white chocolate couverture instead of chips.
